Amy Farmer is an HR professional with experience in a wide range of industries, such as mining, minerals, manufacturing, banking, transportation, and engineering.  Amy is knowledgeable in most aspects of Human Resources, and her greatest strengths are in advising and supporting professionals in employee and labor relations, performance management, recruitment, interviewing and hiring, training and development, and complying with basic HR requirements and guidelines.   Amy enjoys working with people and is especially inspired by the hard work, creativity, and dedication of business owners and professionals.  Whether providing project-based HR support, strategic HR input and planning, or ongoing HR advisement, she is passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals. 

Amy holds a master's degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA.  In addition, she remains focused on continuing education, maintaining both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.  Amy resides just south of Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and three children.
